Donuts with Dad was a great success! Thank you to all the dads who joined us for donuts and playtime in the classroom. The kids enjoyed doing play-doh, blocks, books, games, and painting with Dad!
We hope you all had a happy Father’s Day!
Our last field trip of the school year was a success! We got to go on a fun and bumpy hay ride around the grounds, churn our very own butter and eat it, and feed some hungry farm animals. All the kids had a great time at the Queens County Farm and we even beat the rain! Special thanks to Mr. Correa for helping us out today with the students as well as being an excellent photographer!
Bronx Delta School is getting Kindergarteners moving, working together, and learning about other cultures through their Town Hall Arts program.
The kindergarten students are learning how to mix colors this week. They learned how to mix blue and yellow to create green. They also experimented with mixing lighter and darker shades of green. They worked on various types of lines, such as thin, thick, curvy, straight and zigzag. Take a look at their great work!
