K-105 visited the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space museum. We learned about what it was like to live in space, met astronaut Scott Kelly and visited the planetarium. We learned about life in space, observed constellations in the planetarium and made our own constellations.
The first graders had a special treat this week. K-110 came to visit our class and shared all that they learned about reading with us. Each kindergarten student got to partner read with a first grader. They supported each other and worked together to read each other’s books. They had a great time celebrating all of their hard reading work!
We had such a great time at our costume parade and reading celebration! Thank you to everyone who participated. We enjoyed marching in the parade, showing off our best character voices, and creating story puppets with you!
We are so proud of all our kindergarten graduates! They have worked so hard and learned so much this year! They are ready for first grade! It has truly been a wonderful year. We wish all of our Bronx Delta families a happy and safe summer!
Donuts with Dad was a great success! Thank you to all the dads who joined us for donuts and playtime in the classroom. The kids enjoyed doing play-doh, blocks, books, games, and painting with Dad!
We hope you all had a happy Father’s Day!
