Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! K-112 celebrated by making hats, graphing goldfish crackers, and reading with buddies from K-110! We also read lots of Dr. Seuss books, including Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. We love to read!
We had so much fun celebrating the 100th Day and Valentine’s Day! We created 100th day crowns and made necklaces with 100 fruit loops. We also worked together to make 100 gumballs and 100 cupcake sprinkles! Our Valentines math centers were lots of fun, too!
Last week, the super readers of K-112 celebrated the end of our reading super powers unit. We have activated all of our reading super powers and we can now defeat any tricky word that stands in our way! Ask us about our powers – picture power, sound power, pointer power, partner power, and many others. We are super readers!
We had so much fun playing our holiday learning centers, dancing with our friends, and doing a gingerbread craft with our families!
I wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!
K-105 visited the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space museum. We learned about what it was like to live in space, met astronaut Scott Kelly and visited the planetarium. We learned about life in space, observed constellations in the planetarium and made our own constellations.
